JENN RIEHL

Jennifer Riehl has been studying the performing arts for over 26 years. Her training includes ballet, tap, jazz, modern, contemporary, hip-hop, and musical theatre. While training in the Maryland area, she was a member of a competitive dance company and performance troop that achieved many regional and national titles. She represented Maryland as one of the state’s delegates at the Dance Excellence Festival held in Long Beach, CA, where she was also invited to join The Young Americans, a national touring performance company. She has studied throughout the country with such choreographers as Frank Hatchett, Steven Boyd, Joe Lanteri, Mia Michaels and AC Ciulla. Jennifer is a scholarship recipient and graduate of John Robert Powers School and Agency in Philadelphia, PA. While attending JRP she was awarded the Miss Modeling Association of America Award. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Salisbury University in Interpersonal Communication and a Minor

in Dance. While attending SU she was a member of the SU’s Dance Company, where her choreography was featured in the Fall Student Showcase. Her choreography has been presented in the production of Maggie Little from the Young Actors Theatre in Reston, VA under the direction of Mark Brutsche. Her recent work was showcased at the Kennedy Center with Joy of Motion Dance Center’s Youth Dance Ensemble. As a teacher for the past 15 years, her work has received recognition for Top Scores, Entertainment and Choreography Awards from numerous competitions.
